FEB 26 An Alternative Medicine Cabinetposted by deana on February 26, 2012 2:50 AM as General Yesterday I gave a 4 hour workshop entitled "An Alternative Medicine Cabinet". It turns out that ALL drugs have effects. The word "side effect" makes no sense AND is great for marketing. While there is a time and a place for drugs, it is my opinion, they should be a last resort. Using herbs, vitamins, minerals, homeopathic remedies and flower essences are ways we can support our profound innnate intelligence. If a parent consistently does for the child, the child will never do for himself/herself. It is the same for your immune system. If you consistently reach for a drug to eliminate symptoms, you will weaken your immune system and in some cases cause atrophy. I have never read that cancer is caused by regular use of over the counter medications, likely, because most have not been proven to cause cancer directly.
